For Our Reflection!

Proverbs 14... [Quoted from: Contemporary English Version, Copy right © 1955 by American Bible Society]

As we concluded on the sermon yesterday at church that highlighted on purpose driven relationships, our beloved Pastor had a special word for his congregation to sum up sunday's lessons... Run through the lessons that I found outstanding...

V1:
A woman's family is held together by her wisdom, but it can be destroyed by her foolishness.
V2:
By living right, you show that you respect the LORD; by being deceitful, you show that you despise him.

V6:
Make fun of wisdom, and you will never find it. But if you have understanding, knowledge comes easily.
V7:
Stay away from fools, or you won't learn a thing.
V8:
Wise people have enough sense to find their way, but stupid fools get lost.

V10:
No one else can really know how sad or happy you are.

V14: You harvest what you plant, whether good or bad.
V15: Don't be stupid and believe all you hear; be smart and know where you are headed

V20:
You have no friends if you are poor, but you have lots of friend if you are rich.

V23: Hard work is worthwhile but empty talk will make you poor.
V24: Wisdom can you make you rich but foolishness leads you to more foolishness

V26: If you respect the LORD; you and your children have strong fortress

V29: It is smart to be patient, but it is stupid to lose your temper
V30: It is healthy to be content, but envy can eat you up
V31: If you mistreat the poor, you insult your creator; if you are kind to them you show Him respect

What verse stands out for you?
